The Chester Step Test is a simple, non-invasive way to perform this that doesn’t involve any pain or discomfort.
The screening process involves stepping up and down on a low platform at a controlled, steady pace. At regular intervals, the pace gradually increases, allowing us to safely assess how the heart responds to increasing levels of physical demand. Heart rate is monitored throughout the assessment to evaluate cardiovascular efficiency and overall fitness in a controlled and supportive environment.
