RETAIL ERGONOMIC CHAIR ASSESSMENT

This assessment evaluates the suitability of the chair in use, ensuring it meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) minimum standards and supports employee comfort and wellbeing.

Whether or not an employee is currently experiencing musculoskeletal (MSK) issues, this proactive service helps identify how their chair and seating posture may be contributing to discomfort or increasing the risk of injury.

Retail Ergonomic Chair Assessment

The assessment is conducted on-site at your workplace by a qualified MSK Specialist or Ergonomist. It includes: 

  • A thorough evaluation of the employee’s current chair and seating position. 
  • Consideration of any reported MSK symptoms or physical needs. 
  • On-the-day adjustments to improve posture and comfort. 
  • Tailored recommendations for alternative seating solutions if needed. 
  • Practical guidance to help employees optimise their setup and reduce long-term strain.
